Posizione: The Software IT Architect is responsible for the following:

Exercises a repeatable, documented and auditable design method

Leads the analysis and design project phases by employing accepted design methods, patterns, and best practices

Understands how each individual IBM software product compares and integrates with other products from IBM and our competition

Exploits knowledge of the IBM software portfolio to select the best product combination for the architectural design

Uses knowledge of customer`s abilities to systematically recommend appropriate education and services

Organizes and leads the balance of the IBM team around the design

Retains an active role in the solution assurance and implementation of the design after the sales transaction is complete

Harvest sand shares reusable intellectual capital

Uses technical and business acumen to win and maintains the respect and relationship with key customer decision makers

Builds relationship networks with knowledge sources inside and outside of IBM, and leverages those relationships to solve customer challenges quickly

Investigates new software technology and design methods to proactively educate our customers

Ensures work products are documented and transferable to other technical professionals

This candidate should have the following skills profile

Designs technically valid product/solution architectures

Designs, validates, and implements complex multi-product solutions

Has strong communications skills

Listens and understands customer requirements and can translate to a technology solution

Can identify, negotiate, and document criteria of success for a middleware solution or architecture

Analyzes the technical feasibility of a solution

Manages risk through leading solutions assurances and readiness plans

Identifies new middleware opportunities for any of IBM’s specialty products/solutions

Sells effectively against competition

Applies the Signature Sales Leadership (SSL) Method and practices the TeamMethod

Teams well with other and understands how to leverage IBM to the customers benefit

Takes pride in being a member of the technical community. Actively mentors and publishes best practices

Is a perpetual student, keen on maintaining high skill levels and proper credentials, both internal and external
